One of a handful of elite courses opening in 2017, the only Mid-Atlantic layout and sole Pete Dye design.
The spectacular Shepherd's Rock, a Pete Dye-designed course, is scheduled to open July 1, 2017 for resort guests and golf members only, and July 12, 2017 to the public.
"It is a great combination of the most unique and enjoyable golf Holes we have built, combined with the stunning mountain top environment of views that speak to your soul." - Tim Liddy, Golf Course Architect
High atop the Pennsylvania Allegheny Mountains, the 7,151-yard Shepherd's Rock golf course will offer extraordinary golf in a spectacular setting. The course has a USGA rating and slope of 74.7/138 from the championship tees. Naturally, experience three different ecosystems as you advance through the course: wetlands, woodlands and pasture. The rolling bucolic terrain is ideal to fully utilize Dye's brilliant imagination in fashioning a routing sure to draw raves from both media and guests, which offers miles of scenic views across the mountains. The layout is expected to rival the highest-rated golf courses in the country and be a perfect companion to Nemacolin's PGA Tour-tested Mystic Rock.
